Restaurant of the Week

For the first ever restaurant of the week, I feel that it would be a crime to not choose the restaurant that is not only a staple of Oregon burger chains, but also happens to be within eyeshot of the apartments and a direct neighbor. I’m talking of course about Burgerville! Known for it’s quality and flavor that is a step up from other rival chains, it is a must dine restaurant, especially considering the convenience of location.

Burgerville is known for its clean and conscientious business practices, The chain uses 100% wind power for all of its restaurants and headquarters, and is the largest chain in America to do so. Burgerville uses only trans fat-free canola oil and sends 7,500 gallons per month to be transformed into biodiesel In 2004, Burgerville switched to range-fed beef raised without hormones and antibiotics. In 2007, it began composting food waste which is expected to result in an 85% reduction in waste and $100,000 annual savings. Burgerille was even rated by Gormet magazine as having the freshest fast food in the country!
